Hi and welcome to my #2 Etsy shop Whimsy Needle Nook! I am also the designer/owner of The Whimsy Brush here on Etsy.
I started Etsy over 10 years ago as an outlet for my hand painted custom Bibles. This shop has been successful and is going very strong. I also have a love for sewing and I decided to branch out to add my hand sewn Bible/book bags and stitching project folders. That is where Whimsy Needle Nook comes to life. Here you will find hand sewn project folders to organize your hand stitching needs. You will find colorful coordinating fabrics and high quality craftsmanship. Whether you love to needlepoint, cross stitch or embroidery these folders will help you organize each project. Choose from the floss drop or floss bobbin designs.
You will also find my electronic device sleeves and Bible/book sleeves here as well. These bags not only can be used for Bibles but also for your reading books, IPad, small laptop and larger kindle devices. The details for measurements are shown in the listing description.
Now, a little about me...Etsy is my fourth career. I started as a cosmetologist after high school. When my husband and I started our family I stayed home to be a mom for 12 years. During this time I developed my painting skills as a hobby. After some years I taught weekend painting/craft classes at our local arts and humanities council and did the craft show scene along side my mom/wife duties. When our youngest started school I needed something with a schedule that would work for our family so I started working as a school administrative assistant and registrar. After 20 years, needing a change I picked up my painting again and started my Etsy journey!
I love cats and have two! Rosie and Ralphie are my co-workers :) Rosie is the inspector and over quality control, Ralphie pretty much does nothing except annoy his sister! I have a weakness for fancy coffee (lattes) and diet coke! My favorite relaxing hobby is embroidery and cross stitch! I also love gardening and spending time with my grand babies :)
I give glory to God in all things that I am able to do. My hope is that you will find joy in what I create here!
